Everything starts with my love, passion and respect for food. Food takes a very important place in my life. My life evolves around food, the preparation, the flavors, the ingredients and of course the aesthetics in food photography. 

For me, cooking has been, for most of my life, a way of expressing myself, a channel to direct my creativity in many levels and of course to indulge myself and satisfy my food cravings! 

It has been a while since I have written about food. I feel like a runner that has not been training since his last marathon! You know that feeling when you know you can do it but the air has gone, but is still there inside you. Oh well, it’s  probably been around 11 years since I used to write food articles for Taxi Magazine (Guatemala). And I have to be sincere, in some way I miss it!

Hopefully this blog will lead me again to share with you my experiences in the kitchen, the photography sets and in my journey looking around and adventuring in traveling and eating. Probably one or two funny and not so funny experiences in this culinary life I have been living for a while will come out again.

So it is a great way to start the new year! With new projects developing recipes and with a photography productions around the corner.
